Foundation of Raithel in Weißenstadt, initially for the manufacture of rubber substitute articles made of spiral wires

1922

Conversion to the production of technical springs and construction of the first factory at the current location

1946

The rise of Raithel once again using modern coiling and grinding machines

1954

Introduction of the first statistical quality checks

1972

Change in management and introduction of a new quality assurance system as well as electronically controlled coiling machines

1974

Klaus Hüttelmeyer appointed as managing director

1985

Establishment of affiliate company HÜFRA

1986

Takeover of the spring division of the company Stahl- und Drahtwerkes Röslau and assumption of business operations at HÜFRA

1995

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9002

Certification according to QS 9000 and VDA 6.1

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 14001 (environmental management)
