Leg springs are also called torsion springs. This kind of spring is used to generate rotational energy that is released when relaxed.

We produce leg springs with a wire diameter of 0.4 – 4.0 mm for our customers. Irrespective of whether you need sample springs and individual springs in a pilot series or serial production with several million units per spring and year – RAICO produces every single leg spring in top quality.

We are also happy to realise individual special solutions according to specific customer requirements.

  • We check leg positions or bends with lasers and/or cameras.
  • We produce leg springs and double leg springs.
  • Leg ends can also be machined on request with chamfering or shaping.

How are leg springs made?

The latest CNC, winding, coiling and bending machines are used for the fully automatic manufacture of leg springs at RAICO. In addition, we also provide surface treatments that enable the torsion springs to be used in a wide variety of areas. However, customer orders are far from finished at RAICO with the final production step. Intensive quality testing as well as packaging and delivery services are also part of our product range.
